Crested Fools Theatre Company was founded in 2019 for the same reason many other theatre companies are founded everywhere around the world — as an excuse to make art. Over the years, the company has developed a more cohesive identity rooted in a focus on multilingualism and Hispanic-adjacent narratives, with our shows often offering a historical perspective on contemporary issues.
The Crested Fools was founded by its current artistic director Daniel Orejon.
