The future looks bright for Cat: a small tour on the horizon, a girlfriend every other week, and her past safely buried under the weight of cheap rock and crass lyrics.
At least until her brother Sean calls: he wants to see her. He wants to jam.
He wants to remember.
ABOUT THE SHOW
A Band on Ilmoor's Fields is a gig play in ten songs exploring the hurdles of melancholia and the healing properties of jamming and music. It follows two estranged siblings as they untangle their memories of a childhood tragedy that rocked their lives and their relationship to music.
The show started development in late 2019 and was set to be the debut production of the Crested Fools... until Covid hit. Although development of the script and soundtrack was finalised by the end of 2020 (through the medium of socially distanced outdoor jams!), the play has never been staged.

A Band on Ilmoor's Fields is unproduced and ready to be brought to life. It is designed for two performer-musicians (1 female, 1 male / non-binary) and runs for approximately 1 hour 20 minutes.
